The Atelier

The class takes place at the private studio of Kathryn Greer, near Paris. It is very easy to access, being 5min walk from our RER C train station, in Saint-Michel-sur-Orge.

The teacher

A glass bead artist and fine jewellery designer since 2004, Kathryn Greer's creative world is inspired by her secret garden, a reflection of her Irish roots. Combining flora and fauna to create miniature glass worlds waiting to be discovered, she works molten glass in the flame to craft fully glass beads filled with remarkably lifelike flowers and tiny botanical details.

You will leave this class with a wealth of new precision glassworking techniques, giving you the skills and confidence to design and create your own botanical worlds in glass.

PS: Kathryn is fluent in both English and French, so you're welcome to take the class in whichever language you feel most comfortable with.
