The flowers are preciously crafted in glass
The tiny flowers in the jewellery are not real, they are expertly handcrafted by yours truly, Kathryn Greer.
I have developed a passion for glassworking since 2004, in particular for botanical designs.
One petal at a time at the flame
One minuscule petal at a time, using flameworking techniques, I sculpt the tiny glass flowers with a specialized torch and specific toolset.
Once cooled down, the botanical elements are then set in elegant sterling silver, using metalsmithing techniques acquired over several years of experience.
